After investigation, the plant is mainly engaged in the production of animal casings and heparin sodium. It is an important agricultural product processing enterprise in the local area. After the production and domestic wastewater is treated by the sewage treatment facilities in the plant, it is discharged into Tonglu Fuchun Wastewater Treatment Co., Ltd.

According to the monitoring report of the Hangzhou Environmental Monitoring Center Station on April 1, it was determined that the concentration of ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus in the wastewater discharged from the plant exceeded the standard. The Hangzhou Environmental Monitoring Detachment investigated the violation of the law and ordered it to stop the illegal act. It clearly stated that if it continues to illegally discharge pollutants, it will continue to impose daily penalties in accordance with the provisions of the new environmental protection law.

On April 9th, the law enforcement officers reviewed the correction of the illegal activities of the enterprise, and again sampled and sent the wastewater for inspection. After monitoring, the ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus concentrations decreased, but still exceeded the environmental protection standards. The company has not taken effective rectification measures, and its excessive violations continue.
